I saw one two houses away from yours for sale yesterday when I took the kids to music lessons. How much are they asking for it?

What most people will only dance around is that Lexington Park, the area around Great Mills, is multi racial. I believe that is why most of the people posting here slam it. There is a very questionable motel; maybe by the hour? Or maybe the posters don't like seeing people out for walks talking to neighbors of a different color. But how could they see it, they probably never have left Great Mills Road. I'm not a race baiter. I'm a retired Navy Senior Chief who lives in what is called the Ghetto near Great Mills.

What type of lifestyle do wish? If you enjoy an urban flair, then this is the area you buy in. Don't get me wrong, it's not Chicago or New York City which I've lived in both. But it has it's own attractions.

If you like your neighbors further away, then some of the other areas are probably the place to look.

As far as schools, I think it's up to the parents to instill the values of education in the kids. The schools can only provide the materials, it's up to the parents to reenforce what the teacher has put out. The teachers should not have to teach values, they do that to their own kids.

Hi everyone :howdy:

I was wondering if any of you could give me some info on which areas to stay away from as far as buying a house is concerned. I've heard negative things about Lexington , Park but while searching online found alot of nice homes there.

If not lexington Park, what other areas are affordable (decent)?

Thanks in advance for the help.
South of Lex Pk,
Park Hall, St. Inigos, Dameron all great places

I don't think it has anything to do with color. I mean 4 of the 7 hookers that walk that beat are white.

Is this from the official survey or are you just guessing?

Are you guys serious about Lexington Park being a ghetto? If that's true, then I just dropped over half a mil to move into the ghetto?

Anyone here familiar with the new housing development? ie Forest Farm off of route 4? is that in the vacinity of the ghetto?

I just found out it's LeonardTown I'm moving to. For a moment there I thought I just might have to change screen name
You just put down half a mill on a house and don't even learn about the town it's in? Or what it's called for that matter?
