New Vision Trash Service?

Most of my neighbors have NV. I'm with WM. Their trash has been outside on the curb for at least a week (that I'm aware of). WM picked up my stuff this morning and they'll be back Thursday. No complaints about WM service at all!

After 2 months they missed one pick up so far, I can live with that compared to paying double the amount WM charges. Why do people expect premium top of the line trash service? its only freaken trash

I expect to gett WTF I paid for.


If I'm paying to have my freakin trash removed, I expect to have my freakin trash removed.

I don't care about top of the line trash service. I don't care if they're throwing my garbage into the back of a Customized Freightliner Business Class M2 106V or a busted up 1976 Chevy Luv.


However if my trash is not GONE on the mornings it's supposed to be GONE, it is substandard service, and I, for one, won't pay for it.

I switched to Goode. They were so nice on the phone. It is 31 a month to pick up every tuesday and friday. For $15 i got their trash can. Service starts this friday. A couple people in my area have them so i know they pick up the trash. They even agreed to pick up all the trash i have pilled up thanks to New Vision.

got a letter from NV today going to once a week due to distance and non paying coustomers! going to look for someone else i think!

We have not gotten the letter here in HOllywood Shores about the change in pickup days but our friends in Lexington Park did get the letter.

How was letter delivered to you? Our friends in LP had the letter on the front door! They can deliver a letter to the door but they cannot pickup the trash?

I just called WM yesterday (Tuesday) and got them to give me the same price at NW gave me; $22 a month. They will be by on Friday and come 2 times a week

Good for you! I am glad that you were able to do that! Two times per week for $22 per month! How long will that price last for you? Did they say?

Not sure if that would go for others who were WM and then switched to NV!

NV still owes us service until Aug and after the contract time is up, well I will see what we are going to do!

It will last for at least 1 year. I used to be WM and then went to NV nd now back to WM.

Cool! We used to be with WM but switched to NV when they were soliciting in the area last August. Now they say too expensive to service the area 2 times per week; duhhhhhhh... who did the soliciting for new customers here? Sounds like poor management and/or planning!

Does WM does still come to our area here in Hollywood.... so maybe we will follow your lead in time! Not making any decisions today!

Finally got my note stuck in the trash can today from New Vision, Wednesday pick only for St. Mary's, I can live w/that for $66.00 every 3 months. They should have hanlded there dilemma a little better.

And we got our letter today also, stuck in the trash can with the lid holding it in place! I took a picture! Can read the name of the company and see the letter protruding.

Mismanagement and incompetence, at their glorious best! I do not beleive that the situation was becuase people did not pay but becuase they over extended what they could handle. They got a bigger response in this area then expected and could not keep up with it! But that is NOT the problem of the customer!

We will see waht happens in the next few months!

LOL, yup too funny! Not sure what I am going to do with the picture except to have it on file just in case! And should this situation ever come to an actual in court legal issue, well I avhe the picture!

oh BTW, in the letter, it states that they will NOT do recycling from this area becuase it is not cost effective....but they charged people for that then threw the trash and the recycling into the same truck TOGETHER! Duhhhhh......are we not the brightest bulb in the box?

I actually talked to somone yesterday and today. They said they cant believe i am having issues with my trash not being picked up. I asked the guy do you have a cell phone.. He said yes..I said whats your number ill send you a pic of the trash that i have waiting for you. He send he will send someone out tomorrow to pick it up. I asked what happens if no one picks it up.. He sai just call us back. I told him that it has taken me days to get a hold of someone. He responded.. We are busy and hung up.

Issues with trash not being picked up? Well for starters, breach of contract then with the warm weather being here, how about health issues? Critters getting into the trash, causing a mess which you as the owner are responsible for cleaning up when the real issue here is that it was scheduled to be picked up and they did not do their job. And sonce no one can get in touch with them, how is anyone supposed to talk to them about it?
