GOODE is awesome! They picked up all my trash that New Vision did not. I felt so bad when they showed up. They were like WTF! I went outside and told them what happen. The guy was like ohh. I am trash free

Hmmmph. We had the NV issue as well. Maybe I'm silly for being delighted that they actually did contact their customers and did pick up the trash. Was I inconvenienced by it? Sure. But it was our decision to leave WM and even though now they are price mathcing they still won't remove their fees. Their price match is for once a week service for a year and doesn't include said adjustable fees. It is nice to still have a choice, and remember, you can always go back to WM!
YEs they did contact their, NV, customers but AFTER the fact, not before. Inconvenience yes bordering on health issues at this time of year. Yes we all did willingly switch to NV from MW or whoever, but with the understanding that SERVICE WAS TWICE WEEKLY FOR ONE YEAR AT $66 per quarter! NV SOLICITED, ACTIVELY SOLICITED by going door-to-door in neighborhoods in this area to get more customers with the PROMISE of twice weekly pickup which they did until 3 weeks ago then without notice they changed the game plan!
I do NOT condone their, NV, business ethics in this situation. Poor to say the least, or very incompetent in my opinion. Lack of communication, poor planning or whatever got them to this point, it is NOT the fault of the customer. I do NOT believe the non-paying customers is why they had to make the change to once weekly. And the recycle issue, EVERYTHING went into the same truck when it was picked up, some recycling that is!
Anyway, we still have until mid August for them NV and from there, well...... time will tell!

Was curious about mixing trash and recycle, well here is some quick google info:
With single-stream recycling, recyclable paper and containers can be mixed and collected together because all the materials are separated back out at the recycling center. Does this mean trash, too? Absolutely not! While recyclables are mixed together in the single stream process, trash and recyclables are never combined by the hauler for disposal. Such mixing by the hauler would be a violation of local county law.
Split back rear loading packer trucks collect recyclables together for transport to a single-stream facility. Trash and recyclables are placed in separate compartments, loaded through the back of the vehicle, and are not mixed together.
Received NV bill for Jul, Aug, Sep. No mention of "once a week collection". Called their office and finally spoke to a human. That's two times now, speaking to a human that is. Was told everyone was sent a notificsation letter of change to schedule. Well I didn't. Looking at the NV cans along my road apparently no one else in my neighborhood received letters. We all had our cans out on Thursday.
I agree, many of us changed from WM to NV because the price was right and we all could save some $. Most of us could put up with a bump or two in the road. If the company failed to pick up once in awhile I could live with that. But I need my trash picked up twice a week. I don't have anyplace to store the "extra trash" and we do have critters around here, small and large, that appreciate a full can of trash.
So I will be returning their bill with a letter of cancellation. No regrets,

Im glad New Vision exists, even though they are disappointing their customers. I was able to get my waste management bill from $141 every quarter to $87
