Why not just close down all the bars, we all know it leads to drinking and driving, thus deaths from alcohol related accidents. :sarcasm:

No you shouldn't...

It is all the Gov just trying to tell everyone what they can and can't do. It is MY life, I should be able to do what I want

As for owners, they should be able to decide on there own what they want

...unless you want an abortion.

The meeting is tonight but I guess you all will sit around on you butts smoking your butts. And then whine and cry later cause you lost your rights.:killingme

Bar owners have nothing to worry about...i promise you their bussiness will be fine...people around here might have to give up their smoking rights but they will never give up their drinking rights :smack: :buddies: :otter: :otter: :otter: :alkies:

If you have any common sense, you know, Bars= smoking.. it has ALWAYS been like that, and if you don't want to deal with it, rent a hall or something somewhere, and throw your own lil party, stay home, or go outside....

But if you think "smoking" or 2nd hand smoke is the only cause of lung cancer, you must not be very bright :ohwell:

You're right, I have no common sense. Obviously you are one-sided on this matter - a good sign of your intelligence. Is this a math equation you learned in high school, "Bars=smoking"? If so, I can tell you're only a high school graduate! :buttkick:

Can we ban alcohol in bars, too? It wouldn't be fair to people who don't drink and all, and I'm sure they don't want to smell the alcohol or risk taking a spill to the lap.

...the same thing about smoking 20 years ago.

I've kind of come to the conclusion that it's not that big o' deal. I throw a pretty good party or happy hour. I'll just have everyone come to my house.

...cigars. Do you know what that could do to your neighbors? Well? Ask Monica.

...there is something like 2 places on the entire island of Manhatten you can smoke in and none of them are bars.

Well, I won't be going to Manhatten anyway

But what I'm trying to get at, was before all these "smoking bans" and what not, everyone knew, they were like peas in a pod, bars and smoking went together

...in Manhatten too. Seems people got sick and tired of other people arguing they'd eaten their veggies when anyone with some sense knows peas are a starch.

How much longer for pods? :jameo:

Well think of public establishments as your house and don't smoke in them!

Now, folks, I'm just about as anti-smoking as you can get, but I've always thought bars were special places reserved for smoking. Since I don't go to bars, I think they oughta continue to be places to smoke.

...check your PM'er. Elaine is coming to check out the big screen and SMOKE cigars. Indoors.

FWIW, Frederick County has banned sex with chickens, or more specifically, indoor sex with chickens. Seems cigar smoke is bad for them. It's know as the 'Get the flock out of here' ordinance. Seems it makes them feel cooped up. Bad for egg laying. BTW, laying eggs is still OK. Go figure.
