As of May 1st, there were 56,914 more deaths from the day of your post. As I said in my email, even if 60% of those are "fake news", that still gets us to over 22,000. Math and science. They're beautiful.

Yeah, you can believe what you want but when I hear reports that 100 year old cancer patients and people who were never even tested are being listed as COVID deaths I tend to scoff.
But if if makes you feel important we'll just say that everyone who's died in the last two months was because of Kung Flu and you win.
Typical. I even predicted you would cowardly respond that the numbers are fake. The mortality data is very very telling. If you look at just number of deaths compared to normal, we are likely under reporting covid-19 deaths.

Colorado and Pennsylvania both have had to revise their death numbers DOWN due to faulty reporting. MD has Queen Anne County standing with a death count of 2. The county health officer is asking WTF did you get those numbers? Add to the mix the faulty data collection "technique" that the CDC has prescribed and you are going to get bad numbers. I thought DEMOCRATS/LIBS were the party of science? How can you have science when you deny that there are two sexes and rely on false numbers to subject the populace to totalitarian rule?

So, the only factor to look at is how many people have died? What about those that survived? What about the predicted 95% who got it and never had any symptoms? We're going to find, on the back end of this, that the death rate, albeit a terrible thing, is far lower than originally believed. Likely not any worse than the flu.
Here's the thing... is this going to be our standard response to any pandemic? If it turns out COVID19 is nothing worse than the flu, will we have learned any lessons about not getting the entire world stirred into a frenzy of fear, and having our governments lock us down with the oppressive thumb of government?

I've seen other reports elsewhere that strike me as suspicious.
See, when I look at the map data it puzzles me that there are counties where the fatalities are HIGH - and in the next county albeit also the next state - it's very, very low. Was the virus not allowed to cross? How is it this virus can find its way into the highest mountains, the most remote islands and to the most secluded towns in the world - but it can't cross in significant numbers over a state border?
And the best answer is - it does. The DATA sucks. Either one side is understating the cases and deaths, or the other side is overstating it.
Perhaps both are true - but what it really tells us is, you can't really trust most of the data.
Certainly some NATIONS have a motive to understate - they want people to think they're safe to do business with them.
Some hospitals have a motive to OVERSTATE, and health professionals have gone on record declaring they were compelled to lie about data - hospitals with a high amount of COVID-19 traffic get more money (even as they LOSE money through lost elective surgeries). As long as it is going on, it is in the interest of some of these medical outlets to continue to exaggerate numbers.

I so would like to believe that hospitals - and top medical professionals - are honest. But I know they're not, and hospitals are not always run by medical professionals. I know my Mom, who was a registered nurse before she retired, once quit working at a hospital because they were defrauding Medicare. She didn't fight it - but she didn't want to be part of it.

For the sake of argument, I'm giving you your fake news. Like I said, if 60% of those figures aren't valid, you're still wrong. Are you arguing for more than 60%!?!?!?!? LOL. Does this disease have no fatalities? LOL.
6,700 people die every day in this country from one thing or another. That's before COVID was invented. If you can show me that 60,000 or whatever additional people have died, then we can discuss.
But I don't really care. You can be right, it's not important to me.
