A stroll and a couple cold ones along the river front in Mandal yesterday. Beautiful weather. And my favorite breakfast..pickled herring (regular and in mustard) and lever postei on brown bread. MmmmGood.

couple days off. Visited the lighthouse at Norway's southernmost point, Lindesnes. The remains of a large German coastal gun battery are there too. Caught a nice cod whilst fishing around some of the coastal rock islands. Stayed with some old friends in their waterfront cottage.

The krone continues to fall...it's 11.25 nok to the dollar this morning. In the 30+ years I've been working here, its always fluctuated between 5 and 7 to the dollar.

It's like everything here is half price for me these days.
