I will help in any way I can, but my skills are still pretty limited. You should sign up for the classes at CSM. Have you ever ridden?

When I was 15 my cousin let me drive his Super Glyde, that was awesome. He got a fat boy a couple years later... I loved that bike.

He has one of the Hybusa's now brand new few months old and wants to sell it.

:yikes:
If you can ride a bike and drive a stick shift auto, you can pass the MSF course at the CSM. When you pass it, they give you a certificate that you take to the MVA to get the "M" endorsement on your liscense.

It was kind of funny that she would ask me.....I'm not THAT bad, Aps. Every time I get on it, I learn something new.

Can't you just go to the MVA and take a test?

Those were the magic words for me! Girls that like to ride on the back are interesting but everywhere, women that want to ride their own bike are rare!

Move over boys, another guy is joining the competition for MV's affection! :lmao:
More and more women are showing u on their own bikes.. I don't remember the last time I had a woman ride up on the back of someone else's. We even have a couple that are well into their 70's in the BMW club that each ride their own bike.. He rides an 1150 RT she the 1150RS..

Yes, but you have to show up with a bike and be able to pass the test.

But you can just show up and get a permit by passing the computer part of the test, right?

Some of them are, but a lot of them are yuppies *cough*Pete*cough* :killingme

I have a couple defenses planned:
The bike rally was started by a YAMAHA dealer
or
I'm a new rider...would you like me to wreck a Harley instead?

But under no circumstances will I point out the vast superiority of my bike over theirs in every single way :lmao:
Wow! Sturgis is more than 20 miles from your house! This is a HUGE step for you. :jet: :killingme

YOU calling ME a "yuppie" :lmao: Be sure to pack your color matched leather racing pants and jacket, wear it to the Broken Spoke and explain to those gentlemen how superior your bike is. Oh as a matter of fact I will give you $10 if you jump onto a table and do the "THUNDERCAT THUNDERCAT THUNDERCAT WOO WOO WOO" thing. :yay::roflmao:

That get's you a learners permit. To use it you have to have someone with a M endorsement riding with you. They can be following you in a car, but they have to be close by.

Yes. And the answer to the question "Where are the PASSENGER'S feet supposed to be when the motorcycle is stopped?" is "on the pegs." I mis-read the question and thought they asked about the driver, so answered "both feet should be flat on the ground." :lmao:

I'm SOooo friggin jealous and a bit PO'd. I was supposed to be leaving today as well. But, my bike is in pieces waiting for parts. Still...since April!
Parts were promised in 3 weeks. Most came in, some I'm still waiting for, and some others that came in were the wrong ones. This is what I get for going against the grain. I just can't get what everyone else has. I gotta get custom stuff. :tantrum: If I had just ordered run of the mill Vance and Hines stuff, or Kuryaken....But NOOOOooooo I had to be different! Imagine that!!

Ok, I'm done.

Have fun and BE CAREFUL!!! :yay: SERIOUSLY WAY jealous!

You can take my Ultra if you want. You just have to get the oil changed in 400 miles.

I practiced with my cousin when he got his bike. It's not hard, just do a couple circles, drive a slow straight line, fast stop in a box. My other cousin has a little mini bike I thought about taking the test on just to have my license, he has a little vespa :lmao:
