You mean, deduction, logic from repeated observation? That would be the foundation of modern science.
I'm not trying to
prove something in court - just using my own brain. If some smooth guy constantly beds women by promising things he never delivers, it's a safe assumption, conjecture or speculation that he is lying on purpose. If that amounts to nothing, then I think I'd like to play you at poker.
If someone makes a promise repeatedly that they show no effort whatsoever of delivering on, you can probably bet the farm they're lying on purpose.
