And your point ? Just think how GOOD the economy could have been if Obama had a clue .

Doesn't seem like the economy ever failed under Obama. only under Trump.

The economy was always a red headed stepchild under Obama because he had no clue, Trump broke the chain of underperformance simply by being a business advocate not to mention America becoming energy independent and lowering of the corporate tax rateDoesn't seem like the economy ever failed under Obama. only under Trump.
Hint: it wasn't labelled, argued as, or meant to be a stimulus. It's a COVID relief bill.Prisoners don't spend money? Isnt that the point of a stimulus to spend money. People don't work at the Smithsonian or schools? please show me where illegal aliens are getting money. Other than because Fox told you it was true.
Its our money being returned to some of us.
Why didn't you cry like this when Trump picked your pocket to give tax breaks to the wealthy? That what republicans have done to you. Turned you against your own to defend the wealthy.
Hint: it wasn't labelled, argued as, or meant to be a stimulus. It's a COVID relief bill.
It relieves people of the problems of government overreach by forcing business to close and thus forcing those business to lay off or fire employees. It charges people almost $6,000 to get $1400 back, which is about as stupid a bill as one can do. And, that's the best part of the bill.So why did both Trump and this bill mark the previous $600 checks and now the $1400 checks as stimulus checks?

Since prisoners didn't lose their jobs, it seems unreasonable to pay them to lay in prison.
Who pays the deficit? (You really don't want to go down what this "funds".)Second you cant measure it in direct effect as there is no direct line that this will increase anyones taxes as this is deficit spending.
Please educate yourself a tiny bit before wading in to conversations you clearly don't understand.
Who pays the deficit? (You really don't want to go down what this "funds".)
You don't get economics at all, do you?No one. As the can keeps getting kicked down the road.
You can not make a direct correlation between the deficit and the magical $6000 number Fox told you about because the deficit will not be paid in our lifetime and therefore it is impossible to calculate what taxes will be allocated to paying it or the interest associated with it.
If this was a bill being paid for by raising taxes by a certain amount you could make the argument. You cant because it makes no sense.
You don't get economics at all, do you?
What percentage of the national budget, today, pays JUST THE INTEREST on our debt?
You sound like PP.That's a great first step.
Now draw a line from every one of your tax dollars adding up to $6000 and show that they go to that interest?
For a sleepy guy, he has already ramped up vaccine distribution by 300%, Gotten two of the largest drug manufactures to work together and passed a $19.1 billion aid bill to struggling Americans.
Damn, he passed out all of those vaccines, brokered that deal, and then wrote that bill? Busy as all hell. Get this man a Nobel.
Who pays the deficit? (You really don't want to go down what this "funds".)
You sound like PP.
Of my tax dollars, they are distributed exactly the same way the total budget is divided.
So, what percentage of the national budget, today, goes toward just paying the interest on the national debt?
