Sweetheart, my statement was that I’m not seeing a dime of the $1400 and I can’t wait for you to tell me how I’m rich and not struggling. Which you proceeded to do. We then started to flesh out the details behind my life and why I’m not rich and not exactly living a glamorous life. Which are “changing my criteria” I guess lmao.

Hey, while we’re at it, can we throw in planning the wedding? Maybe I can give up the honeymoon since I have no idea how that’s going to happen. I guess we can just go get a cert with our parents watching or whatever.

I’ll have to find an apartment on the ground floor. I can’t exactly carry a 220lb dirt bike up the stairs.

I never said you were rich or not struggling. I also never said you were entitled to the $1400 stimulus. You made those arguments.

You said you couldn't buy a property on your salary within commuting distance of your work.

I showed you its was possible.

The you said "well not that kind of property"

That wont work because X, Y and Z. oh and i have two bikes, and 6 dogs and a wedding to plan.

So you made up what you thought i was going to say in your head. Made a proclamation and then when i showed you that it wasn't true you got mad at me.

Seems like the logic of a someone who lies to whine and be a victim to me.

I didn’t realize I had to specify “a property where I won’t get robbed every other day” in my reply.

Maybe they have different standards than you, so what you call "possible" isn't possible to someone else.

You know what, F it. Let’s explore your “reality” anyway.

You still haven’t shown me a property that fits into my specs of not needing a ton of work (the 1930 house) and that meets the recommended monthly payment of no more than 28% gross. You showed two homes; one that is higher than the recommended 28% gross (you’d need to be pulling about $140k for the 1930s home) and one that is literally an affordable housing project that I couldn’t buy even if I wanted to.

That’s your direct reply to my comment.

Do you not even understand your own thoughts?

Yes. That still stands. I've shown you two options for living affordably within a 5 minute commute to work.

Barry farms has been torn down for years. That neighborhood is perfectly fine. It wouldn't be my first choice since it lacks amenities and grocery stores but you wouldn't be robbed daily in most places in DC anymore.

Neither works. The first is too expensive for the 28% rule (and is almost 100 years old; I specifically said one that I don’t need to work on. Anyone who buys that will have to be doing a ton of repairs) and the second one I do not qualify for. I literally am not allowed to buy it.

The chance of becoming a victim of either violent or property crime in Temple Hills is 1 in 43. Based on FBI crime data, Temple Hills is not one of the safest communities in America. Relative to Maryland, Temple Hills has a crime rate that is higher than 77% of the state's cities and towns of all sizes.

Yep. Just look at the size of the security bars on the last picture of the link he sent.

He doesn't realize he's literally proving my point....The only house he was able to find in the area that meets the recommended price criteria is a 1970s townhouse in an absolutely HORRIBLE area that also needs a ton of work (especially on the outside; you can see the rot on the back near the gutter).

He thinks I'm complaining or being a "victim." I worked my ass off to get where I'm at and I know it will pay dividends. I'm happy to put in the effort. I'm merely suggesting that the comment that "all Americans" are getting the $1400 isn't accurate. There's a lot of Americans who aren't getting that check who could actually use it (like DC or NYC area people) and there's a lot who are getting it who don't really need it (like high earners in southern states). I'm paying for it in my taxes yet I won't see a dime of it.

Prisoners don't spend money? Isnt that the point of a stimulus to spend money. People don't work at the Smithsonian or schools? please show me where illegal aliens are getting money. Other than because Fox told you it was true.

Its our money being returned to some of us.

Why didn't you cry like this when Trump picked your pocket to give tax breaks to the wealthy? That what republicans have done to you. Turned you against your own to defend the wealthy.
You are brilliant Our money being returned to some of us this is true and you will pay taxes on it again I was never a fan of this before or now what needs to be done is open this country up and let everyone get back to work as you can see the Gubbermint has duped you into believing that covid 19 is something else besides what it really is and that is seasonal influenza just renamed like hollywood actors and people fell for it.

Covid 19 is not the same as the seasonal influenza, not at all. I'm not suggesting it is deserving of such a drastic response or that it wasn't used for political gain but it is absolutely not the same as the flu.

  1. Baltimore
  2. Elkton
  3. Bladensburg
  4. Ocean City
  5. Salisbury
  6. Cambridge
  7. Hyattsville
  8. Suitland
  9. Princess Anne
  10. Mount Rainier
  11. Temple Hills
  12. Cumberland

Some of these make sense - Bladensburg, Hyattsville, Suitland, Mount Rainier all are inside the Beltway in PG County ... near each other Baltimore and Elkton are neighbors so yeah

Temple Hills is a head scratcher .... given the proximity to Andrews .... but it is closer to the beltway and as neighborhoods gentrify from the good folks moving out / dying off the cockroaches move in and take over
