Some good stats about sales decline in this story. I'll be surprised if the boycott sticks long term. Been my experience that most people ultimately put their personal pleasure above any moral issues. Time will tell.

OR! this will be the impetus for them to try a real beer and go, "Wow, I can't believe I was drinking that swill all these years!"

So I'm guessing a bunch of leftists purchased some Bud Light to help the cause .

I doubt it ... progressives have been able to keep the likes of Air America going despite railing on Rush for decades .... I seriously doubt Bud Lite suddenly became the beer of choice for a few trans or Gen Z'ers

they don't have enough numbers ,... LGB are maybe 4% at this point, whiny noisy Trans are a microcosm of that

Anheuser-Busch CEO Behind Failed Bud Light ‘Apology’ Is A Former CIA Spy Handler

Brendan Whitworth formerly worked as an officer in the CIA’s counterterrorism center, where he recruited and handled intel informants before becoming a private-sector executive, according to The Official Board. Whitworth has been roundly blasted over his statement Friday in response to Bud Light’s controversial decision to partner with Mulvaney, a transgender activist and social media influencer.

“We never intended to be part of a discussion that divides people,” Whitworth said in a statement Friday. “We are in the business of bringing people together over a beer.”

The statement contained no mea culpa and no mention of Mulvaney or the radical transgender ideology he espouses. Many beer drinkers have rejected Bud Light, once the nation’s most popular beer, with distributors complaining they can’t sell it and bartenders around the country saying no one orders it anymore.

Wyoming news site finds more than a third of small-town bars surveyed are experiencing Bud Light boycotts

"Cowboy State Daily surveyed 14 bars in small Wyoming towns, from Sundance to Burns," the outlet reported, after initially finding that bars throughout larger Wyoming towns were not experiencing boycotts of Bud Light.

"Two of the 14 declined to comment. Seven of the 12 that commented said they’ve seen no noticeable change in Bud Light sales since the controversy began," their report, published on Wednesday, said. "The remaining five reported changes from barely discernible to very severe."

Five of the 14 bars reported "barely discernible to very severe" changes in Bud Light sales, according to Cowboy State Daily.

Yuengling appears to take shot at Bud Light with 'perfectly timed' tweet

Competitor Yuengling put out a tweet one hour after Anheuser-Busch broke silence on Dylan Mulvaney backlash

Roughly one hour after Bud Light company Anheuser-Busch broke its silence about the controversy with a lengthy statement posted on Twitter, craft brewery Yuengling sent out its own tweet appearing to capitalize on the controversy.

"Yuengling, The Oldest Brewery In America. Independently Owned and Family Operated since 1829 because we make good beer," the company wrote alongside an image of its traditional lager with an American flag in the background.

There's no context given on this video, but it is a Walmart in Topeka, Kansas. Looks like a white guy smashing Anheiser-Busch beer products on the floor. If so, hopefully the PoPo just took him out in the parking lot and released him.
