They quit selling them though. Not enough sales to warrant every dealership selling them. I had to go to Manassas to get mine.

 The ride was 5/22/05. Pretty sure the 3 sitting outside the door had price tags on them.

 I called them on the 27th and they told me that they don't have any and don't sell them anymore. For all I know, the dumbasses were sitting on one while telling me that. That is by far the worst HD shop I have ever been in. I've never seen a more lazy, or unmotivated staff at a HD dealership as I have in there. I HATE going in there.

I'm waiting for them to put the V-Rod engine in a Buell.

That will never happen. The V-rod motor is WAY to heavy for very little gain in performance. Plus, it's liquid cooled, and Erik buell will never put anything but the simplicity of an aircooled engine in his bikes. Look for a Touring version of the XB (Firebolt/Lightening) come out for '06 though.

The Firebolt 1200 (what I have) gets 100+hp and GOBS of low RPM torque. 3rd gear is good from 30 mph to about 70, so no shifting necessary on most curvies, goes into and out of turns faster than most jap bikes. The only place it'll loose to the inline 4's is on the straight away. But the Buells weren't designed for that. They're light weight, and torquey and they'll never see a heavier motor in them, like the V-rod. No way.
