Osteen as heretic?

Ok...

Well, I'm still uncertain about the word unknowable. While we can't know everything about God, we can know a lot about Him. Sure, I can't take you in my car and bring you to God and say here He is but that doesn't mean He is unknowable or doesn't exist.
Atheists have chosen to ignore the clear evidence of God's creation for whatever reason. It takes more faith NOT to believe in my opinion.
People knew "Kilroy was here" by the evidence of the little girls round belly.:lmao:
We know of historical events (though we weren't there) from the evidence left behind by those that were.
Although many people say they need physical evidence before they'd believe in God, I still can't understand why so many ignore the physical evidence of God, namely the creation. That's one of the many reasons why I believe in God completely. Thanks Larry:buddies:

...I think we understand one another clear enough to avoid an argument over semantics; we seem to know what one another means.

"For I know the plans I have for you,' says the Lord, 'plans for well-being and not for trouble, to give you a future and a hope.

Why is it okay for Jesus to say it and not for Joel Osteen to repeat it? Because THIS is exactly what he talks about.

I never said it wasn't okay for Joel Osteen to repeat it. I was answering your question about Christians being so full of doom & gloom or something like that. The only problem I have with any Spiritual Leader/Motivational Speaker is when that's all they teach. Some people don't have the common sense to realize that actions have consequences. They think if they believe in God they will never have another problem again. Yeah, you will. Or they think like JPC that Jesus loves them so much that now they can do whatever they want and still go to Heaven without repenting. You can't just skip around among the flowers singing "Jesus loves me this I know" and wait for money and riches to be poured down upon you and that's what some people are interpreting the riches of God to mean. It definitely goes a lot deeper than that. Okay - done with my lecture for now.

:diva: Waiting for "money and riches" does not mean they are going to get it. :bigwhoop:

That is what I said, JPC. I said many people think they can wait for money & riches to be rained down on them and that is not what is meant by "God's riches". Are you agreeing with me or what?
