Certainly, here are five possible floors of the skyscraper in a Gamma World 1st edition abandoned city:

  1. The Lobby: The first floor of the skyscraper is the main entrance, and is a vast, empty space filled with rubble and debris. The players might find old computers, furniture, and other detritus that can be scavenged for resources.
  2. The Executive Suites: The top floor of the skyscraper was once home to the company's executives, and is now a shadowy maze of luxurious offices and boardrooms. The players might find valuable equipment or data among the remains of the company's high-powered executives.

  5. The Generator Room: The third floor of the skyscraper was once the site of the building's massive power generator, and is now a vital location for any survivors looking to tap into the building's power supply. The players might need to repair or restart the generator, or fight off mutant intruders who have claimed the room as their own.

Number 4 describe the hospital in more details, all rooms and floors

Sure, here are some possible details for the hospital in a Gamma World 1st edition abandoned city:

  1. Lobby: The main entrance to the hospital is a large, open space filled with broken furniture and debris. A few old vending machines still stand, but they are long out of order. A large reception desk sits at the back of the room, behind which there are several doors leading to various hospital departments.
  2. Emergency Department: The emergency department is on the ground floor, with several examination rooms, an X-ray room, a triage area, and a large trauma bay. The trauma bay is still equipped with a few outdated medical tools and devices, and might contain valuable supplies. However, the entire department is infested with mutated rats that might attack the players.
  3. Operating Rooms: On the second floor, there are several operating rooms that are still relatively clean and well-preserved. The surgical equipment is outdated but still functional, and the players might find useful medical supplies like bandages, syringes, and scalpels. However, the rooms are also booby-trapped, with deadly snares and pitfalls designed to protect the hospital from intruders.
  4. Patient Rooms: The third floor of the hospital is filled with patient rooms, most of which are empty or have been looted. A few might still contain useful supplies like IV bags, medical charts, or prescription drugs. However, some of the rooms are also haunted by the ghosts of patients who died during the cataclysm that destroyed the city.
  5. Morgue: The morgue is on the basement level, accessible via a stairway or elevator. The room is cold and sterile, filled with rows of stainless steel tables and cabinets for storing bodies. The players might find valuable medical equipment like surgical saws or bone saws, as well as human remains that can be used for research or as a macabre bargaining tool. However, the morgue is also infested with mutated insects and other vermin that might attack the players.
  6. Maintenance Rooms: There are several maintenance rooms scattered throughout the hospital, containing tools, spare parts, and other equipment needed to keep the building running. The players might find valuable tools like wrenches or screwdrivers, as well as spare batteries or electrical components. However, some of the rooms might also contain dangerous chemical spills or electrical hazards that could injure or kill the players.

Convert the basic module B2 The Caves of Chaos, use mutants, robots, cyborgs for the monsters from gamma world

The Caves of Chaos is a classic Dungeons & Dragons adventure module that involves exploring a series of interconnected caves filled with various monsters. Here's how it might be adapted for Gamma World, using mutants, robots, and cyborgs as the monsters:
In the wastelands of Gamma World, there is a network of caves known as the Caves of Chaos. These caves are filled with various creatures that are the result of the radiation and technological fallout that permeate the world.
The entrance to the Caves of Chaos is a small tunnel that leads into a larger cavern. Inside, adventurers will find a maze of tunnels and caverns that wind through the underground complex.
The monsters in the Caves of Chaos are a mix of mutants, robots, and cyborgs, all of which are fiercely territorial and will attack any intruders on sight.
Here are some examples of monsters that could be encountered in the Caves of Chaos:
  1. Mutant Rats: Giant rats that have mutated to become larger and more dangerous.
  2. Cyber-Snakes: Serpentine robots with powerful jaws and a deadly venom.
  3. Mutant Spiders: Giant spiders with venomous bites and the ability to spin webs.
  4. Cyborg Scorpions: Scorpions that have been augmented with cybernetic enhancements, making them larger and more deadly.
  5. Mutant Bats: Large, winged creatures that navigate the caves with ease and use their echolocation to track prey.
  6. Robo-Wolves: Wolves that have been replaced by robotic parts, making them faster and stronger.
  7. Mutant Zombies: Humanoid mutants that have been transformed into mindless, flesh-eating monsters.
  8. Cyborg Apes: Ape-like creatures that have been modified with cybernetic enhancements, making them stronger and more intelligent.
  9. Mutant Oozes: Blob-like creatures that can dissolve almost anything they come into contact with.
  10. Robo-Spiders: Large mechanical spiders that can crawl on walls and ceilings and have deadly lasers for eyes.
As adventurers explore deeper into the Caves of Chaos, they will encounter more dangerous monsters and uncover hidden secrets that could have a profound impact on the world of Gamma World. However, they must be careful not to become one of the mutants, robots, or cyborgs themselves.

I read through Gamma World at the hobby shop where I DM'd, but never played it.

I do still have my copy of B2.

Maybe the world will be safe if we keep the AI chatting about TTRPGs?

In 1978 I was given the Holmes Basic Set and the Dungeon Masters Guide for Christmas, in 1980 I discovered Gamma World buying my 1st module. I was always chasing Sci Fi after that, although I did continue collecting D&D / AD&D modules all through the 80's

Scientists Figured Out How to Design Dice to Roll Any Way You Want

Ask any Dungeons and Dragons player: dice rolls don’t always go your way. But what if you could use a complex algorithm to design dice to physically roll any way you wanted?

Scientist Yaroslav Sobolev at the Institute for Basic Science in Ulsan, South Korea—along with his colleagues—have designed an algorithm that creates wonky-shaped objects called “trajectoids” that mathematically travel along any set path. The results of the study were recently published in the journal Nature.
