There are many crimes here in the US that are just as atrocious. People die innocently daily in our nation, children & adults... I think to deny that would be ignoring it. I dont think the acts themselves differ with what you are referring to, maybe they seem less barbaric, but innocent lives are lost all over the world.
Really? I thought it was strapping bombs on yourself and blowing up discos and grocery stores - not to mention flying airplanes into buildings full of people - that divided us.LexParkMD said:It is hate, lack of empathy & statements as yours that divides us.

I agree. While I don't like religious fundamentalism in general, I think it says a lot about America that our homegrown fundamentalists don't kill, rape, and pillage when they're offended about something.Penn said:When was the last time you observed people firing guns into the air, burning another nation's flag, or burning an embassy to the ground - in this country?
Yeah, we snipe at one another, sometimes with meaness.
But the violence that has been shown on the TV news is deploreable.
Have you seen that here?
THAT"S what I'm getting at.

I have no fear of Muslims and I like Islam.
I respect Islam and thus I have no fear from it at all.
The U.S. base was targeted because the United States "is the leader of Europe and the leading infidel in the world," said Sher Mohammed, a 40-year-old farmer who suffered a gunshot wound while taking part in the demonstration in the city of Qalat.
"They are all the enemy of Islam. They are occupiers in our country and must be driven out," Mohammed said.

I think the government should cut off your disability checks and leave you unsupported just like you did to your kid, and propose for the deadbeats of the Kingdom of 29B. You know, that whole "reap what you sow" thing.JPC said:Not at all.
