1. After Boy freaks out with joy he is going to sit down with a tashbag and get rid of at least 100lbs of the bullshiat I found in there.

2. Damn it is dark  The Burgundy went on well with one coat but it dried way dark. It is almost cave like :lmao: Looks good but damn.

3. If traveling down 245 toward LT I know NOTHING about the paint stain in the road.

4. Timmy has 1 burgundy paw.

5. My house looks like a hoard of barbarians came through.

:smack: Be patient, it is a shambles.

I just finished painting the blades of his ceiling fan gold. I have been measuring for the stripes.

Going to have:

4 inch white stripe.

2 inch burgundy stripe.

8 inch gold stripe in the center of the room.

2 inch burgundy stripe.

4 inch white stripe.

It will look like the pattern on the helmet.

So how long should I let the burgundy paint dry so that when I mask it off for the stripes and then peel off the tape, the tape doesn't take the paint off in chunks?

But wait, there's more...

How many coats of the burgundy did you do? I'd wait 24 hours before taping off anything more than 2 coats. And be sure to use that blue tape when you do it; it is far less likely to adhere to the surface in a way that will ruin it when you tear it off.

You should be good this afternoon, turn the heat on in the room and close the door until you go into paint...

I know it too late, but I would have stayed away from the dark colors. When you get tired of the color, you're going to need 5 gallons of Kilz to keep the red from bleeding through, and some luck...

It's going to be tough to repaint, unless of course you want pink walls.

Parks shellac (tinted off white) dry rolled will do the trick....:yay:

They're actually vinyl. They peel and stick anywhere. But yeah, definitely at least get the helmet! :yay:
Hmmmm I know I saw cardboard people, too....somewhere. But I would get that helmet.

As soon as that Tony Stewart car becomes available again, I want it! :yay:
