If that "someone" wanting a table, holding their tray of food and drink in their unstead hand, is someone's sweet grandmother and grandfather and their two elderly friends, wouldn't you want the thoughtless table whore to relenquish their table to them?
I would hope so.
What if it were your grandparents? Wouldn't you hope that someone would be kind and give up their table to them?
Maybe it's a mom who just took her three kids to the doctor for their beginning-of-school-year-shots, and they are frazzled, hungry, and they just want to eat their lunch quicky and get home?
I remember when my mom had her first big stroke. After leaving her at the hospital, we stopped by Panera for a quick bite to eat. Baby Bubba was less than three weeks old, my mom was paralyzed, couldn't speak, and had turned in to a baby herself. All I wanted was a place to sit down and eat, and think about the challenges ahead for us.....and not to think about if I had to stand up eating my meal while some person hogging a table would move or not.
