I went to Meadows farms today to pick the magnolia tree and "while you're there pick up a peony too smooches". Ugh. Anyway we are outside and people are walking around with their masks on. 
OUTSIDE! Anyway I may have gotten the side eye and cursed with catching this crap, because that's what the worry worts do, wish illness upon the non mask wearers and people that want their friends business to survive. #LoveTrumpsHate or something.
Riddle me this. If the virus is so virulent that we 'awwww gunna dieeeee' why haven't millions of "essential workers" dropped dead yet? I thought the bodies were going to stacked like cordwood?

When I'm walking, I see those people! I also see some people walking with a mask on. :smdh:Have seen tons of people on the road driving with masks on..wonder if they wear their masks at home??

So .... unless they are self taught, which is highly unlikely, they still get their information from their employers, via correspondence, alerts, memos, etc., from places like the CDC, Johns Hopkins, The WHO, and University systems.
That is statistically unlikely.But you feel free to wear your little mask so you feel like you're doing something important.

Thanks for the disdain. It suits you well. I'll feel free to wear my little mask because a ton of well-educated, well-trained, highly experienced scientists and doctors including my MD brother in law and my nurse wife firmly believe that it does help prevent the transmission of disease, and I personally would like my wife's patients to live longer.

Everyone's gotta do what they have to do for themselves - I'm all for that. Free to be you and me is a real thing. Go for it.

That implies that there are NOT also a ton of well-educated, well-trained, highly experienced scientists and doctors who believe this is blown out of proportion and that locking down entire states are not the way to go. Some of those a ton of well-educated, well-trained, highly experienced scientists and doctors even think the mask puts you at risk. And just because those well-educated, well-trained, highly experienced scientists and doctors believe the way I believe doesn't mean that I want old people or sick people with COVID to live shorter lives.
You're basically rejecting well-educated, well-trained, highly experienced scientists and doctors because they don't think the way you want to think.

ACKshully, I'm crunching the numbers, looking at the maps, and siding with the people who reflect that data. Whenever anyone tries to tell me that what I'm personally seeing is a mirage, I recognize that they're trying to manipulate me.
It's like in the 90s when they tried to tell me that everyone was getting AIDS, yet the data said that gay men were far and beyond the largest HIV demographic, followed by IV drug users, and everyone else made up maybe .25% of all cases. It was a lie, but I was supposed to believe it because "doctors" said so.
Like I said, wear your little mask and enjoy your fear. Nobody is stopping you.
