Sorry but Dad has to build them too.....:lmao:
Hey, what about Mom? I build my own car tyvm AND I build my girl's car for the sibling race...although I admit Daddy will probably have to put on the wheels because I don't have time today and the race is tomorrow.

They are still working on it lol. We will post picture when done. Thanks everyone for all the helpful info!!

I have about 20 kits in my basement if anybody needs one and can't find them at a store. I know Doug's sells them. Beacon too. I may be more convenient than the store. I'll be home all day tomorrow working on cars with the kids while wife is at leader training.

Remember - they have to be the BSA kit and no pre-cut bodies to run in district if you decide to do so!

Plus, half the fun is carving the block up!!!

Actually, Doug's sells official BSA kits, (among others) They even sell Official BSA spare wheels and axles, in case you are one of these anal types (I know a few) who will go through 20 axles looking for the best ones.

Nothing to see here
Another tip is to run on three wheels and not 4. Less friction.

I have 4 build and in the process of painting. Our Derby is in March.

My kids won the derby every year. Not sure how they did it. I'll ask.
