Please please please~~~!!!!

I hope I never have to find out, but my plan would be to cut the deer in half.

I'd like to think that's an option in that situation, and like everyone else, hope never to have to find out, but I have a real hard time believing that you could actually cut thru one, even under the best circumstances. I'm thinking it would be more like a bullet hitting Kevlar. Yes, read the instance of your club rider actually doing it, still find it hard to think about.

I'd have to do some digging, but the guy that did it last year went back and got pictures of the deer carcass.. split almost right in the middle, head and front feet.. ass and rear feet..

I haven't found a pair of comfortable riding pants yet but when I do they'll be added to the list.

I've got First Gear HT overpants, removable Thinsulate liner, foam pads in the knees and on the hips.
Work great and you don't get chilly-willy like you do with chaps

Sometimes the smaller bikes can go faster!
I was riding a Suzuki Intruder 800 and hubby was riding the Vulcan 900. Man, I could blow him away on the highways!!!! We'd stop at a light and if I felt frisky, I'd take off and leave him behind.

Now that I have moved up to the 900 myself, hubby got a new 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Nomad. PAY BACK TIME!!!!!! Now he leaves me behind at the lights :frown:

DISCLAIMER: We do NOT ride around speeding all the time...these are just occassional times that we have fun with each other, but do NOT continue to maintain those high rates of speed once a point has been made

According to a motorcycle mag I was reading there are 150 fatalities from 700,000 deer/ vehicle collisions. Two percent of the automobile collisions were fatal to the human while 85% were fatal to the motorcycle rider! I didn't see where it broke down what percentage of the crashes were motorcycles. How motorcycle riders can avoid collisions with deer and other animals - Surviving the Streets - Motorcycle Cruiser

I'm a little slow here, but aren't motorcycle riders human?
