Thank you all for continuing to vote. I was afraid this would happen, seems like every time Sherman gets ahead the competition suddenly gets 500 + votes in just a couple of hours. hmmm...

It would be interesting to see a graph of the voting. Sudden large jumps in vote count would seem to indicate "machine" voting.

One of the competitions friends actually posted on the Frenchie's owner's FB page about " turbo voting again "

I am not exactly sure, I looked it up online , its a way to cheat the system , it involves removing cookies, then refreshing the web page , thus being able to vote multiple times, sounds like cheating to me but I am not sure.
I tried that yesterday and it didn't appear to work for me. Maybe Gurps or someone else has some insight.

Perhaps the other entry's owners have also tapped into a local forum to have people vote for their dog as often as possible. Imagine them watching your dog gain 400 votes in a short time. They probably think the same thing, that something nefarious is going on.

I can understand that, but with Sherman, his votes have been coming in at a slow and steady pace whereas the competition's votes have jumped 300, 400+ votes in the span of an hour , this has happened at least 3 times over the last week or so.

I'm waiting. It's like an eBay auction: wait until right before it closes so the person you're bidding against thinks they've won, then swoop in at the last second and outbid them.
