We have a family beagle that just had surgery for a large mass in his abdomen. I feel so bad because his belly was so big and we all thought he was just fat. The vet said the mass was HUGE (after sonogram).

That is terrible. I hope he is on the mend. Poor thing.

I need that on video. Tank (the Jack Russel) likes to torment Rosie (the pig). Momma has taken a liking to Rosie so when she sees Tank coming she puts herself in front of Rosie so Tank can't annoy her.

My relative said she doesn't even know what the vet bill is yet - she didn't even ask them in advance, just said do whatever needs done to save him (based on what they said was wrong and prognosis was good).

A few months ago the prognosis wasn't good for their kitty, so they just made her comfortable and let her pass in peace.

I'll see if I can find a picture of the beagle, he's so cute.

That is terrible. I hope he is on the mend. Poor thing.

I went to visit the beagle yesterday. He was so glad to have company that he got up to greet me.

The vet bill was around $2k, so not too bad actually considering the extent of the surgery they did, and all the pre-op tests to figure out what was wrong.
