Prayer For Muslims During Hajj

JPC sr

James P. Cusick Sr.
The truth will set us all free.

No. You got it wrong. The term infidel to a Muslim means a person who does not believe in Islam. The reason some Islamic sects believe other Islamic sects are infidels is that they do not believe the same way, much like denominations in Christianity. The big difference is, with some notable exceptions like Ireland, Christian denominations don't go around killing each other. Ireland was actually more about British rule and Irish independence than Catholic vs Protestant.

The Islamic sects are:
* Ahmadiyya
* Shi'a
* Sufism
* Sunni
and many within each sect see the members of the other sects as infidels, and they war against each other
.
:bigwhoop: Duh, American Christians and Jews see others as infidels too if they are not proper acting Christians or Jews. :diva:

I stand corrected. We can still fight if you want to..... Do you like mud wrestling or jello wrestling?

GH

Neither. I do teach karate though. But I am a non-violent but well prepared to defend myself, others, and country kind of person.

:killingme Thanks for playing. You don't debate, or if you consider what you do as debate, you don't do it well. Debate involves the expression of competing or opposing ideas. By your own admission, you do not discuss your own beliefs, ergo, what you do is not debate.

What you do is belittle and besmirch others and their beliefs neither of which is debate.

i dont really care about speeling or punc on the internet, its funny whenever someone is loosing an argument they quickly attack a persons credibility based on something as stopid as spelling.

and debating doesn't mean a discussion of ones own beliefs, it means a discussion.

de·bate /dɪˈbeɪt/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[di-beyt] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation noun, verb, -bat·ed, -bat·ing.
–noun 1. a discussion, as of a public question in an assembly, involving opposing viewpoints: a debate in the Senate on farm price supports.
2. a formal contest in which the affirmative and negative sides of a proposition are advocated by opposing speakers.
3. deliberation; consideration.
4. Archaic. strife; contention.
–verb (used without object) 5. to engage in argument or discussion, as in a legislative or public assembly: When we left, the men were still debating.
6. to participate in a formal debate.
7. to deliberate; consider: I debated with myself whether to tell them the truth or not.
8. Obsolete. to fight; quarrel.
–verb (used with object)

no where does it say any of the ideas need to be your own. In fact during debating matches, you generally dont get to decide which side you are on.

Discussion cannot be done intelligently when only one side is presented, therefore, by the definition you present, you do not debate.

I am not losing. I have already won.

Whether you win or lose is still in question.

I brought up spelling, English grammar, punctuation, and capitalization because you called others, including myself, ignorant. I believe that it is ignorance to bring one's intelligence into question by not using proper English in any presentation, so, by my logic, it is not those that use proper English that are ignorant but those that do not.

You do not present a side. You just ridicule those that believe in God. That is not debate; it is not discussion.

It is your ignorance; if you wish to show it, have at it.

But you do not present an opposing view.

I don't need to argue. You prove my point with every post. You do not understand anything of the Spirit and therefore cannot discuss anything of the Spirit with any intelligence.

Since you add nothing, I guess you are best ignored. :howdy:

well there is an enlightened view:
you say something i disagree with therefore i will first say you have no point, then i will ignore your point for eternity and beyond. :lmao:

I do understand an awful lot about spirituality, just becasue my position isn't in line with yours doesn't mean it is nonexistent.
