Yep. Which one were you?

:howdy: Hi, I was the one with the hyper boxer/pit mix that didn't want to sit nicely like the other dogs so he stayed mostly outside. He is a foster and it was his first time at the vets. Hunter is a beautiful dog and prayers for his full recovery. Have to say he stayed on my mind throughout the night wondering how he was doing.

Ah HA! Nice to "meet" you.

He responded to stimuli at the vet, so he had feeling in the legs, and was able to pull away from the pain. When I pet him before going to bed, he moved his hind leg to get me to scratch his tummy. Did it again this morning before I left. He cannot stand, or even control his feet. Still cannot go to the bathroom.

Good luck, prayers said for Hunter! Hope he recovers quickly!

Still cannot go to the bathroom.
This is my concern right now. He won't go on my carpet unless he's desperate and he can't get outside on his own because of the steps. A little while ago, he dragged himself out of bed, so I assumed he wanted out, so I took him. But apparently he just wanted a drink. He has the bad habit of relieving himself in our basement on the concrete, so he's there now. That way he can have food, water, a blanket and a place he's willing to relieve himself, all out of the cold. Unfortunately, I can't keep as good an eye on him there.

Seems like the bathroom situation is the biggest problem right now. If he doesn't gain control of his legs or can't stand they have those dog cars/wheelchairs he could use. If surgery is an option I know a great surgeon locally. Maybe could use him even for just a second opinion. Best of luck.
