My dental hygienist expressed surprise that, at my age, I don't take any prescription medication, or even OTC on a regular basis (like for allergies or heartburn). Then I realized that, yeah, I know an awful lot of people who take pills for this and that - high blood pressure, cholesterol, etc.

How common is it to be on meds? Wait for the poll...

It must be all that vegan hippie "pizza" you eat.

This ^ and I wonder how many folks could come off half or most or even all these meds if they fixed their diet. Type 2 diabetes- almost always diet related. Heart disease (high blood pressure and cholesterol issues) same.

Oh sure modern medicine is amazing and sometimes a literal life saver. However, often its a multi million dollar business with no cure in sight- just more visits, bills and pills. A cycles that lines pockets yet never makes the patient well again and off the damn pills.

Im in my 40s and pray I stay pill free as long as I can.

I guarantee you the world would not be a better place if I didn't take my meds.

You people think I am crazy and annoying now... pshaw. :coffee:

Vegetables are good for you!

I love the dark green and leafies. As long as they are in a bowl with a drizzle of apple cider vinegar and some red pepper flakes, not on some bastardization with a cauliflower crust. :howdy:
