Yeah. That's it. Jim Leher is a closet Republican. What next? Obama has done a poor job as potus because, in reality he, too, is on the side of the R?

I was dissappointed in Jim Lehrer for not interrupting either of them more. Obama is not CINC of the debate, the moderator is. Both showed some disrespect I felt.

JPC would probably do a better job at this debate than Obama will.

I say this debate showed some real truth about both of the candidates, as it showed their attitudes and their character and their leadership styles.

What I want is for President Obama to be reelected to another 4 years, and so Romney can have that debate.

As in - win the battle but lose the war.

I am so going to regret this, but here goes ...

WHY? You want another 4 years of "continuing resolutions" instead of a concrete, in black and white budget. Another 4 years of blaming Bush, House Republicans, Lobbyists and anybody else in range for his inability to accomplish ANYthing? How about another boondoggle of a tax increase disguised as "healthcare reform" that we "need to pass so we can see what's in it"?

What makes Obama so great in your eyes? Try to answer without hitting the D's talking points or villifying the other candidates.

In My Opinion
Hmmm...yet another thing that I had not considered...and we know what Mitt does with puppies... :jameo:

now thats something to think about.
what happens if Mitt wins and has to go on a trip with the family dog?
is he going to strap it on top of AF-1?
I hope he at least gives the poor little thing some goggles.

That is a bit too much in saying to leave out our "D" talking point, and even more of not vilifying the enemy.

But still I will try.

I say for many Americans (and certainly us Democrats) we remember the legacy of George Bush with our sincere fear and trepidation. Barack Obama was rightfully given the "peace prize" because very many people across the entire planet earth felt safer with Bush gone and with Obama at the helm. Now Romney repeated again in his speech last night that he wants to give a big increase to the US military even though the military is not asking for more money (as Obama pointed out), and so we know that Romney wants to go back to the warmongering and militarizing of the USA, and this is not just a fear of Romney but that all the Republicans are such militaristic warmongers too. So long as Obama continues as the President then we will not expect to die in the next 4 years.

We also know ( "we" being the sensible Americans and all Democrats) that it was Bush and the Republicans who created the super size federal budget and the extreme national debt, and it was thrown onto President Obama, unlike the federal surplus given to Bush, and now Romney is saying that he wants more tax cuts for the wealthy and more spending onto the military while wanting to cut social programs like Food Stamps and Healthcare (ObamaCare), so Romney wants us to return to the Bush doctrines.

These are really big issues, and these alone are big enough reasons to vote for Obama again.

Including those thousands of invisible unnamed Parkistanis, Yemenis, and Pakistanis that Barry sends to meet their virgins on a daily basis using "death from above"? :killingme

Barry holds the record for ordering the assassination of more people, by far, than any previous winner of the "Peace Prize".

Not that I think that's all bad, mind you...I just like to rub your nose in your own poo, Jimmy. :howdy:

Your old brain is beyond scrambled... Obama is a Jimmy Carter Jr... and you're an idiot that's a supporter of both.

Jimmy I must say you are the perfect democrat.

That was not a compliment

I thank you for that.

It is a compliment for me - even if you meant it otherwise.

Your old brain is beyond scrambled... Obama is a Jimmy Carter Jr... and you're an idiot that's a supporter of both.

At that time (1976 - 1988) then I did not like Carter and I did like Reagan.

But now in afterthought and in honest reflection of the realities - then I find that Jimmy Carter was very enlightened as President, and Ronald Reagan was in very many ways a truly horrible President.

When we judge by the realities and by the real record then the conclusions become more properly clarified.
