PSA: Dropping off kids at school

I don't particularly care about the matter one way or another, but I felt like commenting on this.

Either you are a liar or your car is so full of crap that you probably shouldn't have a child in it anyway. Your average backpack holds maybe 1.5 cubic feet (+/-).

When you carry my childs bag, and drive my car, get back to me. I don't really GAFF what you think. Nor do I care if you have to wait 60 seconds instead of 15-30 for me to get out of the way.

What's wrong with children riding the bus to school. Then there is no problem with drop offs and picking them up.

Personal choice. My child is safer in my car than in a school bus.

Hmm...your car, tiny, right? A school bus, HUGE, right? I bet your kid would be safer in a bus, even with no seat belts. All you need is some big SUV to hit you and your little wind-up car would be toast.

As long as it does not cause my son to be late to school, I don't really care if other people have to get out of their car to get their kids stuff. It just works out better for my family for him to have his stuff on the back seat. I have to wear heels ( dress shoes, and dress clothes to work every day ) It's easier not to have to get in and out if I don't have too. We just chit chat with my son a little untill it is his turn to get out.

hostility =(

It really doesn't matter to me as I park my car in a spot anyway. I was just pointing out that if you wanted to you could easily fit child and pack in your car.

If you say so.

We live about 1/2 mile down a dirt road thru the woods, the bus will not come down there so we drop him off every day. After school he goes to a teen center ( it's child care ) so he does not have to walk home down that road alone.
