Better no be or it's :spank: for you. Fear the wrath of the pixie.

I'm not much on little rice burners myself. But I do like Hondas. That's why I opted for the bigger Accord.

When I first moved up here and started commuting to work I was scared to death. Everybody around here drives so much worse than everybody from Florida (which had always been my comparison before - Florida tags=Idiot). However I was wrong. I apologize to the state of Florida. But it is a dog eat dog driving course. Either adapt and overcome or be road kill. I choose to adapt and overcome. Throw out everything you learned in driver's ed - accept that new rules of the road happen everyday. Learn from your adventures. Have fun with it. Do not allow road rage into your car.
* I had a rough commute home too Bch, I was late leaving dc anyway and then coming up 4 after crossing the bridge at Solomons I should have been home free, but I got behind some idiot who thought the speed limit sign said 30 (which meant he had to do 28) instead of 50 and then I had some a**hole riding my back bumper like it was all my fault. I'm sure he could see the idiot in front of me, he should have backed off. I tapped my brakes a few times, that didn't work, so I slammed on them. He got the message and backed off the rest of the way (after he got out of the dirt on the side of the road). And if that was anybody on the forum behind me - hope your suspension in your truck is okay, but I sure do hope you don't tailgate anybody else. Next time you might be in an accident and paying for somebody's new lexus, along with paying through your nose for your insurance with all the points on your license you will be racking up.

I agree with all, however wanted to add that if I am doing 60-65 on my way up to Waldorf and some young brat comes roaring up behind me, it is not my problem or responsibility to get out of his way, so to me there is a limit to when you have to move over

If your in the left lane then move over. The left lane is the fast lane ! The right lane is the SLOW lane.

If I'm cruising down the road at 75, and someone is coming up behind me alot faster, I move over right away and not wait for that person to hit the brake first. I move over no matter if I have to speed up to pass a car or I'll slow down to fall in behind someone. This is the proper way of driving.

I hate to stereo type but I must, what I have found is that Black Women are far worst then any other group in not getting out of that left lane. :burning:

Left lane drivers are one of the most irritating things on the road. Right along with the people who can't figure out how to use turn signals. Pennsylvania passed a law a couple years ago that makes it a fine to be in the left lane except to pass. Maybe we need something like that, but I doubt it would be enforced enough to make any difference. My philosophy for the left lane is, if there is a big empty space ahead of your car, but someone right behind you, then you are causing a problem and should get over. And I don't care if your doing 90. Unless your passing, in extremely heavy traffic, or making a left turn in the next mile, you should stay out of the left lane.

This happens to me all the time on 301...

You get a slow driver in the fast lane who's speed matches EXACTLY the one in the slow lane.
Then, you have the world's most effective roadblock!
Damn...I'm going back to 'pet peeves'. I have another...

SO DID I! man...that was nice....

and Mig...damn you! its all your fault. now I have to get new brakes and my car totally re-aligned cause of you LMBO!
You are not the only one who does it. People tick me off when they do it, and I will slam my brakes way before iving two taps.

Yeah, it like a moving junk yard. You have so many people running red lights that they will bring all the traffic to a standstill in every direction.

"Junk Yard" describes it to a T. I was there as a kid, '72' or '73'.

I'm relatively new to posting here. I'm mainly a lurker but I've got to throw my d*****ss opinion in here along with everybody elses. What ever happened to "driving is a privelage not a right" Its like you all are trying to see just how bad you can drive just because somebody else is too! No wonder our highways look like a battlefield scattered with body parts. You can't control anybody else's driving habits but you can DAMN SURE CONTROL YOUR OWN!!
Thats my 2 cents worth so flame away guys. You won't get a reply from this cat. Homey don't play that!!

Also,in my journey's each week to Solomons,I have discovered that as I approach the Thomas Johnson bridge going north on Rt. 4,a train forms, and I become a part of that train, the train is very slow(maybe a freight train or something, not sure)and on that train we encounter many stations or stops, each about 40 ft or so apart. How does this train form??Why does it have so many stops so close together??These,...THESE,.......are the questions that haunt me.

Kyle you have answered the question none could answer,.for that I thank you:biggrin: That explains why everyone on the train holds up the signs with numbers on them, they are simply rating the quality of the dive!!
