I don't rejoice with regard to the death of someone. It is just that almost every time there is such an accident, an innocent person is normally hurt or killed. But those are those very few times when people tempt fate one too many times and the odds are finally against them, and something happens to them. I know, I sound like those idiotic anti-abortion people who take great pride in killing a doctor who performs abortions in order to save other "lives".

I don't wish that these people would die. But when they do something stupid and kill themselves, I can't really feel sorry for them either. There is one less person out there that could possibly kill my wife or myself, and that DOES make me happy. Just as happy as I would be if these crazy drivers were to never do something stupid in the first place to hurt us. In the case where they die, they simply shortcut this process and see to it they never hurt anyone else again.

That's the most ridiculous, asinine thing I've ever heard.
It's heartless, sick, and completely out of line; just like the stuff in the NASCAR thread.
I swear, I make some stupid statments sometimes, but people generally take me to task for it and I usually, if not always, try to correct them.
This is complete idiocy, and I refuse to sit her and pretend it's okay when it isn't.
You tempt Karma WAY too much when you tread in those waters!

i AM SORRY BUT I AM A LITTLE LOST ON THIS ONE. WHAT?

I think it's wonderful when we have one less "threat" in our lives.
Cari this is exactly what I feel, be it wrong be it right, after what I have been thru and have seen, that is the way I feel. I do feel sorry for their familes though, because they suffer just as much as the innocent victims.

Let me set this straight for Bk since I did not explain myself to well that I LOST three family members, ALMOST LOST MY DAUGHTERS AND MYSELF.
No it would be wrong to "rejoice" but they did it to themselves, so although I might have been wrong in saying that I agree to smalltowns remark, even though I understood what smalltown was saying was a joke, I will say that I have no sorrow for them. You were not there when I went thru what I did four different times .You were not there when I had to watch my loved ones put in the ground because of these reckless drivers, or go to the hospital and pray to GOD that my mother and father be ok after watching the guy who speed thru the red light and hit them walk out of the hosptial with barely a scratch.
