This one is 61. I knew him when we were in our early 20s. Have not seen him since.

I might undersatnd if the guy was in their 20's or even early 30s. But... 61? Sorry but, he is obviously someone who has not mentally matured enough to have any kind of meaningful relationship.
However, it does not surprise me based on some of the things I read and see on here

He was addicted to pain pills from a horrific auto accident that happened 8 years ago, which broke just about every bone in his left leg. He wasn’t driving when it happened; his friend was. And, as far as being banned, I knew I was right, came back, and I am still here. I thought that is what you stand for in all your oorah Marine spew. You are the master manipulator. If members bothered to look at old threads, they would understand. They will not waste their time on that. And, accordingly, you are a waste of time. I am sure your son is proud of you, and vice versa. Does he know what you say on this forum? Just wondering.
