Looks very tasty. But where does the fennel come in?
Supposed to chop it up and add it to the pot. Whole fennel, not seed.
It was ok. The meats were good, but the olive/grapes was kinda weird.

Better check that recipe because there is NO fennel in it. I watched the video too and all Rachel mentions is sweet sausage with fennel IN it. Only chopped herbs were thyme and rosemary, plus sliced shallots.
Not a big fan of olives nor roasted grapes so I was wondering how that was going to turn out. I think I will skip it.
I was reading another recipe and somehow transposed the ingredients.

Filet mignon cooked perfectly on the grill (mmmmmMMMMMOOOOOOOO!!) with oven roasted cauliflower.
I was impressed, actually. The filet was a blister pack from Giant, but was really tender and tasted good.

I got home from work and threw on some tuna-melts on hamburger buns w/ frozen french fries.
Who has time/energy/ambition to cook a gourmet meal on a week night !
Although the tequila sunrise accompanying the so-so meal made it all tolerable.
