But the subs are run by various users, like FB groups, so I'm guessing they can kick out anyone they want from their sub. You'd think, however, that Reddit would frown on misleading group titles. Such as "Ask Canada" where you can't ask Canadians anything without getting kicked out, it's all a bunch of leftwing propaganda. All the r/(state) subs are the same - nothing about the state at all, just how much they hate Trump.

I asked in the r/Nebraska sub if they ever actually talk about Nebraska or is it just a bunch of Dembot talking points, and was promptly kicked out. :jet:

That’s kind of what I surmised - but I’ve heard very little movement beyond that. The Arab nations DO NOT WANT the Gazans (Palestinians) - both Egypt and Jordan TRIED it, with disastrous consequences. I don’t think they’re going to actually go along with it.

It would take some very serious buy-in from the rich Arab nations to make a Middle East Riviera - which already exist elsewhere. Not very high hope that they mean it.

Truth, I wish WE would consider doing something like that with some of OUR blighted ruined cities - like Detroit.

My guess is Trump is trying to exert some pressure somewhere. Saudi Arabia maybe.

NOBODY wants the PLO ... that is a destabilizing force in ANY country ... these people do not blend in and assimilate, the revolt and take over ... \

No Over Run with Islamists like HAMAS ... more moderate Arab Nations do not want that trouble ...

The Palestinian people - when they were taken in by neighboring Arab countries - have committed assassinations (Jordan) and fomented rebellion and unrest (Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Egypt). It's not for naught no one wants them. They are single-mindedly hell bent on slaughter.

I can't sleep anymore. All I do is doomscroll and refresh r/news, r/worldnews, r/politics, r/canada and anti-Trumo/DOGE subs like r/50501 and r/Defeat_Project_2025.
All I do is hope that there is some good news but there never is. I'm doing everything I can to help. I tell people on here to call their representatives. I'm sharing that dark gothic maga video. I've registered to vote liberal and I'm going to vote for Mark Carney. But as a Canadian there's not much else I can do.
It's consuming me. I don't want us to end up like the US. I don't want my rights as a woman to be at risk. I have trans friends in the US and I'm afraid for them.
It's deteriorating my relationship with my parents, my new bf, my friends, myself and my health... But I'm afraid that if I tune out and distract myself I'm part of the problem.
How are you doing? Is this really end times? Is there no hope? And how are you staying sane?
