What a great place! I love it there and will return. You guys should go for a drink, great music and great people in there. No trouble at all this weekend, at least that is what I heard....

Because they play sh*t kickin' music and serve Pabst Blue Ribbon?

That's all my German grandmother use to drink. :lmao: Along with smoking two packs of Pall Mall unfiltered cigarettes a day.

Sounds like they chose a name that invites certain types of people... while also serving to keep other types away. That's a tight rope I won't be walking anytime soon.
Are you saying you won't open a business targeting a specific demographic or that you're a whiny azzed liberal?

I'm saying that I won't be patronizing that Bar.
See, they saved you time and a cover charge by picking a descriptive name. There's no question about their cliental.
Take a name like TooT's. What exactly do they toot in there? Is it for coke heads or gay boys?

The description sounds great... the name sounds descriminatory.

In another thread, I asked if people who call themselves rednecks would get offended if someone from New York or L.A. wearing a Brooks Brothers suit and driving a Mercedes called them rednecks.

I call it poking a little fun at yourself and some of your clientel. How in the heck does a name "descriminate"?

Descriminatory because the owners don't want certain types of people there.

Real inviting... I hope they go out of business.
What type would the name suggest stay away? Yuppies?
