DR, you're great...right up there with Superman and Batman!!! Molly is a very lucky girl to have 2 wonderful families that looked after her. :buddies:

How very sweet! I'd love to see some pics of Molly in her new home.

I will post when she gets comfortable in her new home. Right now she likes it under the picnic table on the screen porch. Cat is not happy. Molly is settling. New collar, dishes and her old pillow. Vet on Friday. This should be fun. I got some financial help from owner, thanks and good luck on your move.

Just a thought, perhaps when feeding time comes, feed the cat 1st... let him/her think she/he is still the boss. Cats do make additions much more complicated. When I brought that feral kitten in and was working with her, my male cat took a crap & peed in my desk chair. Guess he showed me how mad he was... just watch where you sit.

Desertrat you are awesome! I was contacting my fellow foster mom's (for animals) yesterday and everyone is at capacity, including myself. I considered taking her but I have 32 housed right now, 11 of which are mine. My husband is lenient to a point and I think he would make me sleep in the proverbial doghouse if I brought in another.

You are my hero for the week!

ZARA sounds like you are pretty awesome too! What do you do about them if you go out of town? Does someone come over and cover for you?

DR and you are both heros! :howdy:

she's very pretty, but the sadness in her eyes just breaks my heart, I know you will make her happy again. after so many years, I would have to find someplace I could take her with me that accepted her, but I guess the owners did what they thought was best. Thank god she found a good home.

Thank you. I am crazy about animals:yahoo: I get attached to the warm furry ones and end up adopting them..much to my husband’s dismay.

Yes, my best friend is also a foster and we have keys to each other's houses and care for the animals when one of us goes out of town. All of hers are the warm furry kind and most of mine are the cold scaly kind (easier to care for, less destructive, and not noisy lol). The only one my best friend is leery of is Sasha, my ball python, but Sasha only eats every two weeks so I feed her before I leave and changing the water is simple since Sasha sleeps during the day and it completely comatose.
