Noticed over the weekend that the Lone Star in Waldorf and the Three Brothers in La Plata have closed. Anyone else notice chains closing their locals?
Used to love LS's cajun ribeye!
Cracker Barrel will open in the spring of 2011
Lone star has closed and longhorn is undergoing renovations. Cracker Barrel will open in the spring of 2011
A few of my favorite lunch haunts have closed in the Clinton area. Regina's Pizza (which I was a regular customer), Tom's Kitchen (formerly Chi-Chi's, also closed), Royal Beijing (Chinese buffet) to name a few in the past year or two.Noticed over the weekend that the Lone Star in Waldorf and the Three Brothers in La Plata have closed. This is old news, but a restaurant in Prince Frederick closed about 2 months ago. I think it was Red, Hot and Blue, but I'm not sure. It is being replaced with IHOP in November.Noticed over the weekend that the Lone Star in Waldorf and the Three Brothers in La Plata have closed. Anyone else notice chains closing their locals?

Since someone mentioned new restaurants too, does anyone know which restaurant is coming in Lexington Park that will sit right next to the new Red Robin? I heard a rumor it was a steakhouse, and I'm wondering if it's a Texas Roadhouse or a Longhorn.
Texas Roadhouse

Good riddance... that place was filthy. Grease and dirt splattered all over the walls and floors. I can only imagine what the kitchen looked like if they were too lazy to clean the dining area. I hope the IHOP refurbishes it thoroughly else I won't be visiting. This is old news, but a restaurant in Prince Frederick closed about 2 months ago. Haven't noticed any local franchise chains closing, though. I hope they don't close the Three Brothers in Clinton.![]()
