Ok, I'm not even gonna get started. Whenever someone tells me about how the GOP is so inclusive...I am going to point this post out.
smcdem, socialism is not the right thing to do. It is not practical in the world and it is something that the Democratic Party will never endorse. The market is the best form of economy as long as there is some form of government check of the market power.
And to both of you, cut the name-calling and talk about some real substantive issues and not having one be a communist and the other a reactionary.

Love how both of you look at the stupid things kids say and somehow reflect their comments to blanket the idealogy of their respective parties.
It is obvious both of these kids are simply "growing up", they often say things just to get attention.
But to go along with your "one kid defines a party" notion, it would be obvious by these two examples why I don't not affiliate myself with either party.

I hope nobody thinks any one person is representative of a whole political party. I was merely pointing out how Democrats always say THEY are the party of tolerance and diversity, but if you disagree with them you find out just how tolerant they really are.
Did you forget how Liberals cried about Clarence Thomas and Condoleeza Rice - saying they weren't "real" blacks? Or how Libs took up the cry of Harry Belafonte, calling Colin Powell a "house slave"?

I didn't cry about Clarence Thomas because he "is not a 'real' black." Nor did I take up Belafonte's cry; Harry pissed me off with that crap.

I cried about Thomas because he is anti-choice, anti-civil rights, anti-affirmative action, pro-rich....It was not because he wasn't a true black. I love Colin Powell because well he's a liberal and we all know it. (pro-choice, pro-affirmative action, Al Gore's idea for funding the military are much closer to Powell's than Bush, and Powell is the only sensible person on the Bush foreign policy team)

Clarence Thomas isn't any of those things - he's pro- personal responsibility, which is why the NAACP hates him.
