You Cannot Apply for Asylum at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate
That's because, under U.S. law, asylum seekers can apply only if they are physically present in the United States (or at least at a U.S. border or other point of entry).

DeSantis’ office responded to the lawsuit in a fiery statement, and they also included photographs of the consent forms that the illegal immigrants signed before they flew to Martha’s Vineyard. They also included a link to a local Texas news story that showed more of the consent forms that have been used.
“It is opportunistic that activists would use illegal immigrants for political theater,” DeSantis’ office said. “If these activists spent even a fraction of this time and effort at the border, perhaps some accountability would be brought to the Biden Administration’s reckless border policies that entice illegal immigrants to make dangerous and often lethal journeys through Central America and put their lives in the hands of cartels and Coyotes.”
“The transportation of the immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard was done on a voluntary basis,” the statement continued. “The immigrants were homeless, hungry, and abandoned – and these activists didn’t care about them then. Florida’s program gave them a fresh start in a sanctuary state and these individuals opted to take advantage of chartered flights to Massachusetts. It was disappointing that Martha’s Vineyard called in the Massachusetts National Guard to bus them away from the island within 48 hours.”

Beginning a conversation with a liberal about politics or climate change is a complete and total waste of time. It only leads to impatience and anger at their total lack of vision.
I say vision because they cannot see what is right in front of them. My own conversation with my neighbor yesterday left me totally amazed when he defended the Presidents Press secretary by saying the McAnany was not a good press secretary because she was prepared and had a book that she answered questions out of. The lack of awareness is amazing among ordinarily intelligent people.
