Saturday 16 July poker run from Gridiron

Poker Run this Saturday, starting at the Gridiron in Callaway. Signup opens at 10:30. Departure at noon for Fat Boys, Dew Drop, Seabreeze and then back to Gridiron by 5 pm. Pretty sure there is a live band thta evening too.

I'm going. Its the kind of short distances my old scooter can (hopefully) manage without too many problems.:whistle:

Looks like about the same or similar list of stops as the last five or six area poker runs held this year. I must have missed the news about all those horrific accidents.:shrug:


It is a benefit run but I got the information about when/where second hand so I'm still waiting to hear who/what its supposed to benefit.

Poker Run Info: Sat., July 16th....Registration 10:30 - 12, Gridiron Grill. $15 per bike, $5 per rider. Stops; 1- Gridiron, 2- Fat Boys, 3-Seabreeze, 4-Dew Drop & 5-Gridiron. Ends 5:30. Live Band-Hawkeye There will be a 50/50 and door prizes.

The weather is looking to be fantastic for this time of the summer..and is the main reason I'm going.

I'll be inconspicuous and incognito on my ancient Harley..practically invisible. :evil:

A most excellent run it was! Many thanks to all those who sponsored, organized and ran it. Had a great time, met some great new folks and rode with some old friends too...and my old scoot cooperated all afternoon.:buddies:

It is a nice looking bike. I got a kick out of the girl on the Rebel who was pretty new to riding, but stuck with it. I didn't go back to the party. Crummy cards and had stuff to do. Interesting varied group.

Thanks. Good to meet ya..however brief it was. I had a really lousy hand too, so I left the party early and headed south.:buddies:

Spent most of the day riding with one of my oldest riding buddies..and both of us were surprised to see the other show up; for various reasons we've both been off our respective scooters for a good while.

Yeah, I met a guy that had come over to look at a bike I had for sale. He finally figured it out and came and we got to to know each other a bit better.
Other than that didn't really meet anyone. I'm not all that outgoing.
