Really. WTF is he thinking. Sounds like he's missing out on about 10,472 calories that way. :killingme

No kidding. I mean if you are going to have biscuits and gravy you might as well be using butter, cream, extra greasy sausage etc...

This could explain part of my weight problem :lmao: I make homemade biscuits and homemade sausage gravy every sunday morning for breffus :eek:inkoink:

In the biscuits or the gravy itself?

I usually use a mixture of half & half and heavy cream. I also make mine Saturday evening and serve it Sunday morning. Like a good sgetti sauce, chili, or soup it needs a little down time to develop uber delicious flavor

have you ever tried to make pattis out of it? Those things shrunk up like a man getting out of the pool. THERE WAS SHRINKAGE!!!!

he got his pillow ready and everything :lmao:

:killingme nope, that stuff is strictly gravy sausage. ooh and I did put it in my stuffing..was sooo good. but def not eating sausage.

I did it the old way too. Found this stuff and it's fast, no lumps, etc. Besides, I can't have the biscuits so I just put it on the sausage.

What time shall we show up Sunday morning at the trough? I need to make sure you are fulfilling the calorie requirements.

I have 5 hungry men in my house who love B&G so it is a must do every sunday.

They are freaks though. They actually rip up the biscuits into little pieces, rather than just opening them up and smothering them in gravy.
In the gravy

Hmm I will have to give that a try this weekend. I usually use buttermilk for the biscuits anywho.

Adding your flour to the sausage and grease crumbles, stirring it around to cook a bit, then adding the milk is fast and no lumps, too. :huggy:

We open a biscuit, top it with scrambled eggs, then dump gravy over the whole mess. Mmmmm MMMMM!

LOL after reading this, k?

Last night, I cooked up a steak. Put it on a plate, then placed the plate on the counter (rear of the counter closest to the wall). Realized that my clothes in the washer were done, so I left to go move the clothes into the dryer. Gone maybe 45 seconds, if that. Come back to realize that my steak is gone. Like vaporized, gone. Like, the plate is so clean that there is no evidence that a steak even sat on it, kind of clean. Yelled for Bubba, who was off playing with his racecars upstairs. Looked at the dog, and she literally had a smile on her face. Yep, the piggy doggy ate every last bit of my sirloin steak.

I had to eat a grilled cheese sammich, instead. It was delicious - esp with some yummy bacon jam on it - but it wasn't a steak. :frown:

After all this talk about sausage gravy, it made me hungry. So instead of gravy, I cooked up the sausage and poured pure maple syrup on it instead. :yum:
