Hubby is not doing well at all today I did not even go to see him too depressed..today was 22 yrs...we always did something special...

Mom was a hoot tonight Dems gave her some bud light and she was lite..she talked up a storm and would not shut up..she even held sparklers ...We have pics..will post later...Mom just went to bed..Dems wore her out...she asked her a million questions and she answered most of them appropriately..

I'm sorry that you had such a tough day with Bill. I can only imagine how you felt yesterday (and every other day, for that matter). It does sound like you had some fun last night though, which is great! You needed it, no doubt. Can't wait to see the pics of your Mom. :huggy:

How did this weekend go for your mom and husband? Hope you were able to enjoy your 4th of july with having some forumites around you as I see you said in a post earlier that dems came by and got your mom talking up a storm after she gave her some beer.

He is now in a rehab...he was sleepy for a few days after his neck surgery...yesterday he opened his eyes..NO tracking and NO interaction...NOT good in my book...yesterday was day 28..thanks all..I have been sick almost daily...I have had to really cut down on my working (I only have 2 today) I never know how I will feel when I wake up..Mom is doing well..

Paso, what are the experts telling you? I've read on many cases where the victim of major head trauma takes several months to come out of a coma. He is showing signs of improvement over the past 28 days, though it's little tinsy steps so he may just have a couple more months of healing to go... the brain is re-wiring in an attempt to repair itself as we speak.

They tell me he is NOT brain dead...he has severe problems with motor skills...(he came move on his own some but if you pick up his hand and let go it drops) he has NO cognitive (?) skills...NO interaction with peeps....they tell me they DO NOT KNOW...time will tell...this rehab should tell us..it is 3 weeks of intensive rehabbing 5 hrs a day...they tell us what to do after this..we have a family meeting there this week...Bills dad is headed up today to talk to them I had to work so I could not go...Hope to have more rehab news today..thanks...they said this is not a race but a marathon..They said he will NEVER come back to what he was..and he was not 100% then...just hope he comes back with a better personality..
