Fawn will also be at Petco - My name is Fawn and I’m a “young” 8 years old, after all, us Chihuahua’s can live up into our teens in the right home! I get along with other dogs but prefer not to live w/very large ones and I’m also an “equal opportunity” type of dog (although I will need time to warm up), I love men and women as well as well behaved kids (but I don’t want to live with children under the age of 10, only due to my own age!). I can’t live with cats, one of them decided to show me she was the boss and now I believe “I” have to make the first move, so to be fair to all the cats out there, I don’t want to live with them!

They don't come much cuter than Fawn!

That's a good one! Some of us call her a "Pocket Pit" because of her size or a "Pippet" because she looks like a cross between a Pit and a Whippet. Whatever she is, she's a sweetheart and will make someone a great companion.

Hmm I am working on SO.. will the foster parent be at the event? Shih tzus are notoriously hard to housebreak...and can be "bossy" ...I would like to ask some questions of course..then get SO to agree..:killingme He wants a pit..not sure hes gonna like the idea of walking a Shih tzu around...

My sister has a shih tzu and she has a Japanese bobtail cat. They are best friends and are always playing. But of course that could just be their temperaments. If he is sweet, I would think he would be fine, and yes they are extremely hard to potty train. My sisters dog is 10 yrs. old and still has accidents.

it looks like we are going to be pretty spread out throughout the store, so just walk around looking for us, I'm sure we won't be hard to find!

psst i think they were blue shirts that say second hope rescue on them :) but I can't swear on it as I only ran into one lady one time who was putting the kitten she had back in her carrier and I talked to her for a few min. I don't remember her name either lol (blonde moment)

Adopt me please !
Oh my these two are adorable ! Sure hope they get to stay together (if they have been together). One of these days I'll be in a better position and can add on a few more wagging tails. I'll surely pass on the info. to others although because of ME, most people I know are max'd out on pets.

More SECOND HOPE RESCUE dogs at Peco:

Not sure why, but she looks greyhoundy to me.
Her nose isn't as pointy...they have muscular rears too, hers isn't, more slender/lean looking - reminds me of a hound. Her brindle/white coloring - typical of a boxer, pit, or AM bulldog - but her face doesn't look like any of them, really. She's a best guess.
