Ever heard of Post Partum Depression?....It will do the same thing....once you get into the cycle of depression, it will continue till all gets straightened out by a doctor(not a mid-wife) and medication

Yea, it could be(been there, done that)....the cycle of depression starts with a post partum....take away the "new baby" stuff and returning to work will take it's place....take away the "how are we going to make it while I'm on maternity leave" and add in the cost of daycare....in the end, for the most part woman lose their sex drive because of this
My suggestion, go see a psychologist and see what they tell you....you might just need some stress management

Yes it can be....I am not saying that it is but PPD can last anwhere from several weeks to several months ++.

Like I said....been there, done that
Woman have so much crap on their minds that the last thing they think about is sex....and when they do, they don't enjoy it fully because they are thinking about what to pack for the kids lunch in the morning or when the phone bill needs to be paid
Men(sorry guys) usually put all that aside and don't think about much but having sex

To a guy, worrying about all we worry about, what we deal with, there is no greater reward or stress reliever than having a fantastic romp with the old lady at the end of the day. We, at least me, are not very good at seeing stress or troubles as a reason to NOT wanna get off.

I highly doubt she is saying it's been a year since she had sex. She stated it's been a year since she had her son and she feels the same way!
