I know they aren't the healthiest thing to eat, but they're super fast to prepare. They get 2.5 minutes in the microwave then 5 in the toaster oven.Interesting.

Lately, Food Lion currently has had the compressed sawdust patties covered in an unappealing bread crumbs that are disgusting.
Maybe you could be an extra on Star Trek.I have a red shirt and black pants..... I have a cell phone..... $15.00 an hour eh???
YES! the last tyson patties we got from FL were sawdust patties too.Popped in for a few minutes looking for frozen Tyson Spicy Chicken patties, none. Food Lion still carries them, but they come from two different plants. I can tell you with certainty that Tyson's doesn't have consistency of product from plant to plant. I've learned to check the plant number to be sure the product is edible. Lately, Food Lion currently has had the compressed sawdust patties covered in an unappealing bread crumbs that are disgusting. I've tried various ways of "cooking" them to make them more palatable with no success. My quest continues...

Is this the "good" plant or the "bad" plant?#Plant7221
This is the good plant. These are the *HOT* ones. The other plant is something like #24468. The 7221 patties are slightly larger and have a darker coating. Is this the "good" plant or the "bad" plant?
I thought the same thing. Other people who were near by me also said the same thing. I doubt they will last long. Without customers, they will eventually go under. Perhaps there are some folks out there that don't care what the prices are.I was really excited about this opening, so stopped in today.
Probably won't go back. Prices are HIGH! Felt like McKays 2.0.
Are we sure McKay is not running it?
People who don't pay for their groceries, buy on the gov dollar.I thought the same thing. Other people who were near by me also said the same thing. I doubt they will last long. Same with the old McKay's on 245. Just has a different brand name, but it's not Shoppers. I'm willing to see what Leonardtown and California's McKays replacements are.Went in Shoppers today and was disappointed. It's basically McKays but cleaned up and with food on the shelves. They didn't change any of the fixtures, and the hot bar area has much less selection. For example, where the butcher section used to be still says "service butcher" from when McKays had and actual butcher there, but they walled it off and put a cooler of meat there. I went in there looking for something for lunch and Bradfords has three times the prepared foods selection. It kind felt like the Wizard of Oz and Tommy McKay was behind the curtain pushing all the buttons thinking he fooled people with a new store name.
I guess I forgot to ask, which shoppers did you guys go to? The one in california or leonardtown?I thought the same thing. Other people who were near by me also said the same thing. Might want to check out Aldi "Red Bag Chicken" in their frozen section. Not spicy, but a way better than I expected a frozen hunk of chicken to be.Popped in for a few minutes looking for frozen Tyson Spicy Chicken patties, none. That’s a staple in our house. Most often used in chicken cordon bleu sandwiches.Might want to check out Aldi "Red Bag Chicken" in their frozen section. Not spicy, but a way better than I expected a frozen hunk of chicken to be.

It tastes a lot like Chick-fil-a sandwich chicken, I think. That’s a staple in our house. Most often used in chicken cordon bleu sandwiches.
What/where is Bradfords?Bradford's is actually really nice. They added a lot of stuff if you go beyond them not really changing the fixtures.
The old MacKays on Hollywood Road.What/where is Bradfords?
Sounds like a good reason to finally go in there. Harris Teeter had a row for them, I think. It was way the hell in the back of the store. With the circulation issues I have with my legs, I was pretty bummed to finally go in there and come up empty handed. It was a major hike after being on my feet all day. My daughter shops HT a lot. I may get her to check again when she goes.Might want to check out Aldi "Red Bag Chicken" in their frozen section. Not spicy, but a way better than I expected a frozen hunk of chicken to be.
