Your thinking of the Round Top with the driving range at the bottom and actually has a golf course.. I think...........![]()
Dougstermd said:i am pretty sure it was Wisp its in Virginia. I took a day trip out there in 1996 when we had all that snow. It was tiny with very short trails. Wintergreen has put in several of those large highspeed lifts and they rock.

If you need anything PM or e-mail me and I'll see what I can do for you. We have tech days locally, and if there is a problem we can find someone that can help you fix it, or talk you through it.
If you need a place to service your bike my garage is always open, just let me know.
Last year it was in the 60's on NYD. We actually have a rather mild climate here.Barnacle Bill said:Great! I will check out the local club and get involved with weekend rides. I arrive back from Christmas holidays on Jan 7, so will not be able to make that Polar Bear ride that day. I have a R1100R with no wind protection, so I tend to stay away from rainy/harsh weather if possible. Thanks for the feedback.![]()
Best place for a ski weekend is 7 Springs PA. http://www.7springs.com/ about a 4 hour drive from here depending on when you leave on Friday. I'm up there almost every weekend and would be glad to ski with you and show you around. Best for a day trip is Ski Roundtop, mentioned above. The base MWR usually has trips to Roundtop or Liberty on Fridays(Flyers should be on the bulliten boards soon) if they don't have a certain number of people signed up by Wednesday? I think they cancel the trip. A long weekend possibility would be Killington Vermont. I believe you can still catch a ski train from Union Station in DC to Killington.SeaRide said:
