I think Suisham cheated and used a laser sight on that one. :swish:

We proved Jimmy Johnson's prediction wrong - for today. :yay:

Cambell looked pretty impressive from what I saw, Portis looked better than expected. D looked good, except that Smoot gimme. I saw quite a few drops from our recievers and heard them talking that there were also serveral in the first half.

Campbell blew a bunch of passes by throwing the ball behind and high; he's pressing. Now, he does look good, but he ain't comfortable. There's every reason to believe he will calm down, but until he does the only difference between a Campbell pass over a guys head and a Brunell pass into the stands is that defenses have to respect Campbell's deep ball.

Portis, I give him credit. I did not think you could just show up and I was expecting, especially with the heat, a hammie or a groin or at least cramps.

Both teams dropped a good many passes.

Let's call it cautious optimism right now.

Portis was throwing some nice blocks for Campbell. I can't remember who he was blocking when Campbell threw that INT in the endzone but the Miami player couldn't get past Portis. :yay:

...CP has always been a good blocker. I was happy to see he's learned how to tackle too on that early pick! (Kinda get out of the way!)

Not getting too excited, just expected worse, I guess.
