Reads liket the shine will be off that new penny fairly soon.
Whomever did the market research for both Slim Chickens and 7-11 may have been partaking in some cannabis.
Poll - which will be gone in a year on rt 235: Chick-fil-a, BWW, Popeyes, or Slim Chickens?
Bonus question - which will be gone in a year: Wawa at Rue Purchase, 7-11 at Millstone Landing, or Sheets at Chancellors?

Or Taco Bell, as the 7-11 has a Taco stand, too.

I normally prefer the Popeye's in LP City, but I didn't go that far south this weekend, and stopped at the one in front of the Hobby Lobby...not too bad, but they were a little stingy on the Cajun Sparkle. I might try the Slim Chickens just to see how it is. I thought Thai Inter had such a good following they'd be open forever (I am not a Thai fan.)

Went in and tried their wings. Just OK. Wings were small (maybe all post-pandemic wings are small now) and it was the mildest Buffalo sauce I've ever had. However, unlike BWW, the service was fast and accurate. They provide you with dipping sauces, but no celery or carrots. The blue cheese sauce was the best I've ever had, just need to BYOV (bring your own vegetables).

They just offer wings and fried chicken tenders and tender sandwiches. Slim Pickin's if you're trying to eat healthy.
Fried Mushrooms are pretty good. And they are an usual side. Better than the usual French fries.

St James still has decent sized wings.. much bigger than most, especially BWW. Biggest wings we've found in the county have been the Food Lion, Leonardtown, hot buffet. I saw the smallest wings ever in Harris Teeter last week, next to some decent sized wings on their hot buffet.

BUT Slim doesn't offer actual chicken pieces and parts?? Just tenders and wings??

THE BEST wings are from the local Chinese takeout. If you ask for 4 wings, they are whole wings, not 4 sections. Deep fried, moist and full of flavor (from gawd knows what they use....) and huge. Probably from the big whole chickens they use in everything else. I get them for take-out and add my own hot sauce at home, typically Mcilhenny Green.

I liked it well enough for what it is. The wings aren't worth trying a second time but any time I have a hankering for chicken tenders they will be my go-to.

That said, their app makes me enter my credit card every time because when I try to use the saved info it gets declined and deleted from my profile. I probably won't be back until there's an update that fixes this issue for me.

Which take-out?

I agree Hong Kong III has great wings. First thing I grab from the Pu Pu platter. Very consistent too to the point they may be cloning chickens in the back.
