Fox News had a link to a story about this on the national level. What's it like here locally? Your opinion? Note that telling us the location helps.

Taco Bell- San Souci plaza. I guesstimate the average wait time is 10-15 minutes.

It was VERY slow today. I thought today was unusual, because up until a few months ago (last time I was there), the service was fairly quick and friendly. Today I left the line and got lunch at SFW.

The slowest for me was the Arby's in PF, but I understand that's gone now. Other than that it was the Chic Fil A in Waldorf, but that was worth a little wait.

Dangit! I forgot Chick-Fil-A. And I don't know how to edit the poll list to add a choice.

Get your fat lazy asses out of your car and walk inside

Ostensibly the drive-through saves a little time, which is important to those who don't have much time. You're right, sometimes it's just as time-consuming to go inside the store. Sometimes it's faster to skip the meal altogether. Regardless of the reasons people use the drive-through option, the point of this thread is to see which places do worst at providing that option. Some of us are neither fat nor lazy but are pressed for time and are hungry.

sometimes it's faster to go inside. you just have to compare the line inside to the drive thru.

They all have the capability of being fast, its poor management.

The employees are paid how much, exactly? They're not a motivated bunch. I doubt "good" management can make sure people show up on time and work hard if they aren't paid much.

When the unemployment rate is high just having a job should be enough to motivate. Pretty sad when people can no longer be fired for being rude or incompetent.

I understand what you're saying, but nobody is forcing them to work at these places. If you dont want to show up on time, every day your scheduled and do a good job, then leave and let someone who wants to work do it.

Hey aps...next time I go to taco bell can I pick you up so you can walk inside for my fat lazy ass? I have a family of 6, so sitting in drive thru makes it a hell of a lot easier than dragging 6 people into a fast food establishment and then carrying 6 cups of pop and 2 bags of food. Try doing that when holding the hands of two small children across the parking lot. Your a single dad...I wonder why.
