I told them I sent the check in the mail last week. Why did they cut my power off?

When I was a teen, our electricity was always getting cut off because my mom would rather smoke pot than pay the bills.

Well, I'm at work. Luckily my kids cell phones were charged up. One of them was updating their myspace using the laptop, and the other one was playing with his psp. Thank goodness for technology.

Oh well, I guess I'm just gonna have to go out to dinner tonight. Lord knows how long it will take them to turn it back on.

You need to balance your check book and see whether you are caught up with or not. I put my check to smeco in the mail on Tuesday of this week and I just checked my account and it cleared already.

No wonder they cut you off!
Go pay them and they will turn electric back on in 24 hours.
Be responsible and pay your bills on time and this wont happen.
SMECO gives people many chances and ways to pay overdue bills.

Yeah, but my kids needed new coats this year, and they couldn't decide which color, so I just bought them one of each. And then I had to get the TrackPass thing from DirectV, so I could follow Junyer on the scanner. And I got that big tv at Christmastime and I had to upgrade to DirectV HD.

Just so much going on, I forgot to pay it.
