No, I had to get my fence fixed and get my horses home asap. So busted butt all weekend doing that. Plus Paso was tied up Sunday so both days were shot. So I guess we'll ride it Saturday. Bill Schmacher may ride also. So I guess we'll see how true grit we are this weekend... Right now I'm just grits If you have a number that I can contact you for results etc. pm me

Remember last year's true grit ride was also at the Lake....
We had snow the previous weekend and YOU warned us about the bridges being slippery you also told SAHRAB you hoped he froze his a$$ off . Our hubby's scraped the bridges but that was not good enough for Percy and I. We decided the bridges also needed kitty litter put down. Soooo the morning of the ride we carried bags of kitty litter, 10 in all, by horseback to the bridges to spread them. We were the kitty litter express Plumloco was ready to both of us.
That day it was low 40's & sunny and the snow in the woods was so pretty. A real True Grit. but I'll take 50 and sunny anyday, I don't like to freeze my a$$ off

Well, LeRoy might not be quite healed enough to ride, so....if Ms Sandi (Classic Sand Dollar) is ready, i might be riding her Sunday. This is one of the 2 new Chocolate mares, just picked them up this weekend, and a beautiiful new colt for resale, who is started under saddle. They're from Classic Farms http://www.classicfarm.com/index.htm.

Well let's see we've been riding how many years? I have ridden some wild things and I could put the Crocth Man under that area...Think she can handle him? Plus keep up with Vence and fat pony....Maybe ya better get Giddy Up's opinion on that seems she is the only one that gets along with him....Don't know Paso I'd be leary..... :shrug:

Not as big as either of my other mares THATs what i like!! I can get in the saddle from the ground. The other mare is a MUCH much darker chocolate, almost black, with a flaxen mane/tail. Really gorgeous girls. Chocolate is my favorite color. Told Rottncop i prolly won't be able to sell either of them, or the new colt. I need something to ride when the girls are too round.
He is gonna try to make the true grit ride on Ole LeRoy too. YeHA! Hopefully he'll be feeling good. He's doing better this morning.

Hmmm....

I am not fond of fighting with a horse on the trail. In the ring is one thing. Mostly because if I get dumped on the ground they can't go far!!
