Current view on Wunderground, snow not starting until 7 PM now, still 1 - 3 inches, and letting up by about 9 AM.

I've noticed that for many years, since I was a kid.... always gets warmer just before it snows. Forecast says it will fall to below freezing by evening.why is it getting warmer

That's what happened at sunset yesterday. One minute I'm working right along and the next minute it felt like 30 below.

Looking at it, I dont see where we get three inches. That time and temp chart doesnt leave much room for accumulation.
Also, in St. Mary's County grandma carries a knife.
